Terms of Use

By using the EkoTV Player website, portal and mobile/Windows apps (together, the Service), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

EkoTV Player is a software platform for managing your own M3U or Xtream content sources and playing them on Android TV, mobile devices or Windows computers. The Service does not produce its own content or provide licensed broadcasts. All content sources are supplied by and remain the responsibility of the user.

2. Accounts and Security

Some features may require portal access using a device key. You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and secure, and may be held responsible for activity under your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect your credentials have been compromised.

3. Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Host or distribute unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory or discriminatory content.
  • Access content that infringes copyright or unauthorized pirated content.
  • Damage servers, use automated software for abuse or send excessive requests.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts without permission or manipulate the system.
  • Use ad blockers, license crackers or software designed to bypass authorization mechanisms.

4. Intellectual Property

The EkoTV Player name, logo, software, designs and documentation belong to the EkoTV Player team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Use of the Service does not transfer these rights to you. Platform content, other than playlist URLs and settings supplied by users, belongs to the platform.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided as is and as available. EkoTV Player does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation. Users are responsible for legal, technical and financial consequences arising from the third-party content sources they supply. The platform is not responsible for the accuracy, quality or legality of that content.

6. Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Updates take effect when published on our website. We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, unlawful activity or violations of these terms.

7. Payments and Refunds

In-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Refunds for these purchases are subject to Google Play's policies. Refund requests for digital products can generally be submitted through Google Play within the first 48 hours.

9. LG webOS and Activation

Users of the LG webOS version also supply their own content sources. A device license is not a channel or content subscription. Activation and playlist management are available through the device portal. Online payment on the website is not currently available.
